Heart Disease Prevention
I know I have given you a lot of information about heart disease prevention and a lot to think about with this site. I appreciate you sticking with it and continuing to read as the information I have given you here can really save your life. Before we go any further I want to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Steve I am 40 years old and I come from a family with a long history of heart disease. Despite this I never gave heart disease prevention much thought. When I was in 2nd grade I watched my grandmother have a heart attack right in front of me as we were preparing to go out for the day. She went on to have some very painful and expensive surgeries but in the end she ended up passing away at a young age from heart disease caused by high blood pressure and cholesterol. My grandfather, despite seeing the effects that heart disease had on my grandmother still wasn’t able to find a system that worked for him. He also succumbed to a heart attack. Perhaps the one that scares me the most though is my father who was in his late 20’s when I was born. He died from a massive heart attack when I was just a baby. I don’t even remember what he looked like.
I have a family of my own now, a wife and a 2 year old son. When he was 1 I went in for a routine checkup not expecting there to be anything wrong as I ate what I believed to be a healthy diet, I do an hour of cardio at the gym 4 times a week, and I never get a cold or the flu. When the results came back what the doctor told me shocked me. My blood pressure and cholesterol were both dangerously high and I was severely at risk of having a potentially fatal heart attack, just like the one that killed my dad when I was young!
After receiving this news I drove home in amazement at just how unfair this was. Then I started thinking about my life and how my grandfather hadn’t taken the warning he got from my grandmother seriously, didn’t take the steps necessary in preventing heart disease and paid the price with his life. Then I thought about my dad and how badly I wished I could remember him. When I got home and saw my son I broke down in tears. I didn’t want to make the mistakes my family had made or suffer the same fate as my father; and most importantly I wanted my son to remember me.
I got my composure and became determined that I was NOT going to end up like them! I was NOT going to be a victim of coronary heart disease! But what could I do? I was already doing the things you are supposed to do; eating healthy, exercising and it had gotten me nowhere, I needed to learn more about heart disease prevention.
I started doing some research on my own to learn as much about heart disease prevention as I possibly could and was amazed at some of the stuff I found. The common supplements that the medical industry recommend for lowering cholesterol and blood pressure like fish oil don’t do what they are advertised to do! And the USDA diet created by the federal government of the United States is actually incredibly bad for your heart, their hypertension guidelines are way off I guess I should have known better than trust the government.
Even more jarring was that a great deal of doctors and scientists already knew this but the government and the medical industry have scared them into not haring their findings with threats of being discredited, having research funding pulled or worse. They have been forced to discretely share their finding on the internet and often their discovery have been removed.
Well I had nothing to lose so after doing my research on heart disease prevention I found the diets and supplements my research showed me would work and just went for it. After following this diet and using just one supplement I returned to my doctor to have the same battery of tests done and both he and I couldn’t believe it… my cholesterol and blood pressure had both dropped dramatically and were both at healthy levels for someone my age… the Dr. even said I was healthier than someone HALF my age! He actually reran the tests to make sure a mistake hadn’t been made and the results were the same! He asked me what I had been doing to make this possible and I told him about my diet… the heart revitalized program as well as the krill oil I had been taking.
